Family Rights at Welford School
Adults should do what's best for the children and when making desicions that affect the child then the child should be considered.
Parents/carers have the right and responsibility to direct and guide their children so they can enjoy their rights properly.
Children must not be seperated from their parents unless it's in their best interests. Where parents have been seperated, children have the right to stay in contact with both parents.
Governments must help children and parents live together in the same country.
Children have the right to be cared for by their parents/family where it is possible.
If a child is adopted or in foster care, it must be in their best interests and they must be safe.
