At Welford Primary School we take the safeguarding of our children very seriously. We hope this information will help you understand our approaches to safeguarding so that you can play your part in keeping our children safe.
If you have any questions then do not hesitate to contact any member of our Senior Leadership Team.
At Welford we are required by law to contact Social Services if:-
- Any child is found to arrive at school with injuries.
- Any child reports circumstances which cause concern.
- Children are at considerable risk of harm in the home environment.
Any parent/carer with concerns related to Child Protection should speak to the Head Teacher or a Designated Senior Leader - DSL (Mrs Kirk, Mrs Foster or Sarah Dunlop).
If you have any concerns about Child Protection and you cannot get in contact with the school then you can also contact Birmingham Local Authority CASS Team on:
0121 303 1888 or 0121 675 4806 (Emergency Duty Team)
